The Asia-Pacific Corrosion Control Conference (APCCC) is the most influential international academic event in the field of corrosion control in the Asia-Pacific region. It is hosted by member countries of the Asian-Pacific Material and Corrosion Association (APMCA) on a rotating basis.

The first conference was held in 1977, and to date, 19 successful editions have been organized in Melbourne (Australia), Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), Seoul (Korea), Osaka (Japan), Shanghai (China), Manila (Philippines), Mumbai (India), Pattaya (Thailand), Guangzhou (China), and other locations.

The 20th Asia-Pacific Corrosion Control Conference is hosted by the Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection and Wuhan Research Institute of Materials Protection, China Academy of Machinery Science and Technology Group. It will be held in Wuhan on November 13-15, 2026.

The conference focuses on frontier research and technological innovation in materials corrosion and protection. It includes four main sections: keynote reports, thematic sessions, poster presentations, and technical exhibitions. The conference will thoroughly address key scientific issues such as environmental adaptability of engineering equipment materials, service safety, and life assessment. Through interdisciplinary and international dialogue, it will promote the research and application of new materials and technologies, contributing to the high-quality development of the corrosion protection industry.
